Saving and resuming drafts

Your progress saves automatically

While you fill a form, MobileForm saves your answers on the device a couple of seconds after each change, and whenever you switch away from the app. If the app closes or the phone restarts, your answers are still there.

Save a draft

Tap Save as Draft to save your progress, then leave and finish it later. A running labor timer is stopped when you save.

Resume a draft

1. Open Results.
2. Choose the In progress filter.
3. Tap the draft.
4. Finish it and tap Submit Form.

Where drafts are kept

Drafts stay on the device until you submit them, so they survive closing the app, restarting the phone, and losing signal. They do not sync to other devices. On iPhone, the home screen app and Safari keep separate storage, so a draft started in one does not appear in the other. See Installing MobileForm on your phone.

When you submit a draft, it becomes a regular submission and syncs.
